An Evening with Self-Development Royalty – Hay House I Can Do It Weekend
September 27th, 2009I’ve just returned from teaching at the I Can Do It event in London. What an amazing weekend. The attendees were fabulous people, and the other authors were delightful to be around.
Last night at the author’s drinks party I chatted to the lovely Gordon Smith (the psychic barber) who has lost an amazing amount of weight by just running. It’s not fair – men seem to find it so much easier than women to drop the pounds! Louise Hay as always a wonderful lady. She is incredible at 83 years old.
Robert Holden the happiness chap and his wife Holly were superb to chat to. Robert is a truly amazing man who I can confirm is absolutely wholeheartedly ‘happy’. The Barefoot Doctor and I had a brief chat about his life in Ibiza, David Hamilton and his partner Liz were great fun, and of course my favourite David Wells was as humorous as ever! He and Simon from Hay House were a double act for the evening.
Laurence, my husband, chatted to the very grounded Doreen Virtue. Mesmerised by her fabulous chakra necklace, he swears blind she must have thought he was talking to her chest. He was in his element talking to Marianne Williamson, one of my favourite authors. Her book A Return to Love is on my list of must have spiritual reads.
Wayne Dyer a spiritual master as ever, Michael Neill the ‘Super Coach’ told me about his life in L.A. and how Paul McKenna has moved his workshop with him to another weekend because of Simon Cowell’s birthday?! I wasn’t sure if he meant Simon Cowell was coming to their workshop or he was having a birthday party.
Gregg Braden, big fan of his now. I hadn’t really looked at his books until I had a chat with him, and went to his talk today. The man is fascinating.
Barbel Mohr the queen of Cosmic Ordering is the sweetest lady you can come across. She is very pleasant indeed. On the taxi ride back to our hotel she gave me a copy of her rare book Millionaires’ Shopping Guide for Greater Inner Wealth which is a hit in her native Germany but only a few copies exist in English.
A truly fabulous evening had by all.

Dear Heidi,
I attended the Hay House ‘I Can Do It’ course in London and your workshop. You may remember me as the one who ran in huffing and puffing afraid I’d be late. I am also the one who admitted to you that I snuck in your workshop as I was really eager to see you -the one from Greece. I loved the workshop and it really opened up more psychic doors for me.
Your book is fantastic and so now I’d like to know how I can subscribe to your newsletter and how to get a reading from you. I click on the side bars but they don’t open saying the page is unavailable. I’m interested in the free downloads, too.
I will be joining the psychic circle once I sort out some financial matters. Also, I’d like to know what on line courses you offer.
One question I do have though is after walking through Queen Mary’s Garden’s and picking up on the auras of trees is it possible to actually communicate with them and with birds. I literally found myself talking to them and holding a conversation with a finch! Not only that but at Luton I
was practically ‘harrassed’ by a beautiful black and white bird for not talking to it – a little embarrassing I’d say in front of so many people. I really think I’ve lost it when it comes to animals. I know i’m sane and no I’m not on any medication whatsoever.
Thank you for a very inspiring workshop and know that you have made me feel – finally – normal with what I have i.e. psychic abilities.
With God’s love and light,
Catherine
I think the man in the photograph was a very popular and fun character. He had lots of friends and I also feel he married the woman of his dreams and stayed married to her. I think he lived to an old age of around 83. He lived in the 30’s/40’s.
I get the following impressions.
He is jovial, people like him, he is especially good with women. He is somewhat of a player. He may enjoy gambling and other risky behaviors. He may have liked cabaret shows. He may have been around places like west end or Norwalk? He is moderately successful, but also a con artist to a degree. He had a hood heart, but looks out for himself. He had trouble when young. Mother and cake? He may have had connection with mechanics, cars planes. Served in world war 2, but not infantry, stayed in England, pilot, 31st squadron?? Married, Jane left him? Moved into country when older, lived quiet life. No children.
I feel this man has kids perhaps 3, has a wife and very much a family man. He is a smoker and i feel he works in a factory or perhaps a baker in a shop. This was taken i believe 1950’s or 60’s. I see him in hospital but i don’t know why, very kind, loving and generous always helping someone out with whatever problems they have. A very positive person, drives a car.
I feel this man was American; wonderful personality, very kind and open. Also feel he passed over to spirit at a young age, perhaps in his thirties in some kind of tragic accident involving flying. isabel
Hi I see dance music and movement with this man i feel he is in the entertianment feel, but also has a love for cars motorbikes and the circus?
the name john was close to him his father perhaps but thats not his name
i get a letter p for him and see a male partner for him
his health suffered with hear and lung complaint later in life and he lived til he was 72. He had children although his marriage was not happy he preffered men but because of the times was pressured to get married
From the look of the photo, I feel this man loved to party, participated in bootlegging alcohol and had a run in with the law on several occasions. He loved many and all woman and never settled for one. His image and how he was seen was important to him and he always loved to make fun of and laugh with people.
